This update provides a standalone Windows client for those who don’t use Outlook 2010. The Windows client provides similar functionality to the Outlook 2010 Add-In. The following table illustrates the differences

The Windows client uses the mailto: protocol to initiate emails. You may configure whether to suppress the mailto: call or copy the subject to your clipboard.
Please note that Outlook 2007 will no longer be supported.
